No, that's not a complaint about the character on my part - that's the actual title of this story from June, 1972.
Today's comic opens with the funeral of Kevin O'Brien (aka The Guardsman), a friend turned foe of Stark's who had been a key supporting character for over a year - and who was accidentally killed fighting Iron Man in the previous issue. Iron Man arrives at the funeral to pay his respects to the deceased, and perhaps to confront his own guilt. Simon Gilbert, the chairman of Stark Industries (who secretly has been planning to take complete control of the company and who had a hand in O'Brien's death) publicly accuses Iron Man of being responsible for O'Brien's death. Marianne Rogers, Stark's girlfriend (who knows his dual identity) sticks up for him. All the same, she wonders why there needs to be an Iron Man...something the tormented Stark wonders himself. Then the police arrive, wanting to take Iron Man in for questioning. Iron Man soars off, but part of him wonders if he shouldn't turn himself in, surrender his armor's secrets to the authorities and be done with it.
