Riddle me this: what do you get when you cross one of my favorite superheroes with my favorite film/literary genre?
The Cavalier from "Blades," on the other hand, is a charismatic, dashing adventurer, which endears him to both Gothamites and readers. He's also a tragic character the way so many of the best villains are. I also really like The Cavalier's interactions with Batman and the mutual respect they seem to have for each other, particularly on Batman's part. When they face off in a final sword fight, as they inevitably must, both combatants express regret that it's come to this, and it makes for great dramatic storytelling.
