Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris battle to the death in the Roman Coliseum for the fate of...a restaurant. Seriously.
The film opens with Tang Lung (Bruce Lee) a country bumpkin from Hong Kong arriving in Rome. He's been sent by his uncle to help out his cousin, Chen Ching-hua (Nora Miao). She owns a Chinese restaurant in Rome, which is being menaced by a crime syndicate who wants the restaurant for themselves (more accurately, the land). After some comedic antics involving Tang Lung's complete and utter inability to adapt to life in Europe, annoying the hell out of Chen in the process, he demonstrates what a force he is to be reckoned with when the gangsters pay the restaurant a visit. After repeated unsuccessful attempts to eliminate Tang, the syndicate calls in a trio of fighters from around the world - an unnamed Japanese fighter (Whang Ing-sik), Bob (Bob Wall, although the credits say his character's name is "Fred"), and Colt (Chuck Norris) from the United States. Tang Lung is lured into a trap where he faces off against the first two, and then confronts Colt at the Coliseum for a final showdown.
