"Boulevard of Broken Dreams" (no connection to the Green Day song - although now I'm imagining the Edwardses performing that, and it's...quite the mental image) starts a slow, mournful dirge before livening up, incorporating various musical styles, including the waltz and the tango, as well as other instruments in play besides Jonathan on the piano. It's an interesting ensemble, but one that's quite effective.
"La Vie en Rose" is instrumental only, with Jonathan Edwards backed by drums and violin. Opening and closing with "La Marseilles," in between is a bouncy jazz number.
"The Last Time I Saw Paris" is another quintessential song by our titular duo. Frankly, it would be repetitive to go into why, but if you enjoyed the renditions of the first two songs I mentioned, you'll know what to expect from this.
If you want a truly unforgettable, incomparable musical experience as part of your celebration of welcoming Spring, Jonathan and Darlene Edwards in Paris is just what you need.
